The 17th Edition exam

17th Edition Exam

The City and Guilds 2382-15 is the qualification which covers the Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installers.

The 17th edition exam is a 2–hour-60–question online exam. In order to pass you will need to have 80% of the questions right. This means you have 2 minutes for each question which should be just enough to understand the question and locate the correct answer in the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations book.
Don`t forget, even if this is an open book exam (which means that you can use the book on the exam) you will still have to know the book well enough in order to find the answer quickly enough. The book is not a typical book for students, it is a British Standard, so you will have to be very familiar with the way it is structured in order to use it fast enough.

This is what you will need:

You will need a copy of the current edition of the I.E.E Wiring Regulations, we strongly recommend to get a copy of the The On-Site Guide and you will also need a scientific calculator.
